Experience

I began my career in Perth, where, from 2000 to 2011, I worked across a range of specialist services supporting infants, children, adolescents and adults. My clinical work included developmental and war-related trauma, child and adolescent mental health, and infant–parent and perinatal mental health.

During this time, I worked in services responding to intrafamilial sexual abuse, at the Department of Veterans’ Affairs supporting military personnel and their families, in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Child Protection, and in infant–parent and a perinatal mental health service supporting families through pregnancy and the postnatal period. These early years shaped my trauma-informed, attachment-focused approach to practice.

In 2011, I moved to Haifa, Israel, where I worked as staff psychologist and leadership consultant within a global organisation of 900 staff from 90 countries. In addition to supporting children, adults, couples and families navigating cross-cultural transitions, I coached senior leaders and worked with teams to strengthen leadership capacity, build high-performing cultures, and foster psychological safety. I established programs and developed systems and processes that improved staff well-being, and reduced absenteeism and health service presentations.

Between 2018 to 2023, I was based in Geneva, Switzerland. As Head Psychologist and Manager of Support Services at Cancer Support Switzerland, I led the growth of the psycho-oncology service from a regional program to a national service. My role combined clinical work with people affected by cancer and strategic leadership of multidisciplinary teams. During this period, I also worked as an executive coach with a leading European management school, supporting senior leaders from around the world. I consulted to organisations to develop their leadership capacity and team functioning.

I returned to Australia in 2024. In my work, I integrate my clinical experience in trauma, mental health, infant–parent and perinatal mental health and psycho-oncology with my organisational experience in team management, service development, executive coaching and leadership consulting.
