Clinical Psychology & Psychotherapy

I am a registered clinical and counselling psychologist in Australia and a psychologist and psychotherapist in Switzerland. I am qualified to assess psychological difficulties and provide structured, therapeutic treatment.

What I can help you with

I work with people experiencing a wide range of personal, relational and professional challenges including:

  • Mental health such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues and difficulties during the perinatal period

  • The psychological implications of medical conditions and treatments, especially cancer

  • Life transitions such as adjusting to a new country, pregnancy and parenthood, changes in work or role, navigating illness, grieving losses and bereavement

  • Emotional difficulties including loneliness, anger, shame, guilt, stress and low self-worth

  • Aspects of parenting including child’s attachment and parent’s bonding

  • Relationship matters including at home, in the workplace, or in family-of-origin

Many people simply benefit from having a space to pause, reflect, and explore who they are, what matters to them, and how they wish to be or live - this is a space that I am happy to be engaged in.

What I do

As a psychologist and psychotherapist, my role is to help you reduce distressing symptoms and to understand and manage psychological, emotional, and social difficulties using evidence-based approaches and psychotherapy experience that support meaningful change. At times, we may go deeper to explore underlying patterns in your experience—especially what feels confusing, stuck, or repetitive—where insight and therapeutic experience can lead to change, acceptance and/or greater self-understanding.

What working with me looks like

I work collaboratively. When you come in for the initial session, we take time to explore and to understand the issues you are facing, your unique needs and what progress would feel like for you. I will ask some questions to better understand you and your situation, taking into consideration your context: family, work, social, community, and beliefs. Together, we map out a plan for therapy, and, as things move forward, we will check in to see if we’re on track.

My therapeutic approach

I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist and draw on systemic and mind–body approaches. I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Sensory Motor Psychotherapy (SP).
